Lila’s two week check up went well.

She is 7 pounds 13 ounces. 44% for her weight.

She is 20 1/2 inches long still. 50% for her height.

30% for height to weight ratio. She is long and thin.

She gained 10 ounces in 1 1/2 weeks, the doctor said this was really good.

Lila still sleeps a lot but she is having more awake and alert periods. She likes to look around the room while laying down. She doesn’t like to be picked up and jostled to much when awake, it over stimulates her.

Ellie still likes her “sissy.” She gives her hugs and kisses, we are teaching her to be gentle with her touches. When she wants attention she does take off her clothes and run around. We have only had a couple instances of her hitting for attention. Dale watches Yo Gabba Gabba with her every night and they dance around. We try to read her books as much as possible and interact with her. The rain isn’t helping the situation.

Ellie got Mommy and Daddy all to herself yesterday for lunch and shopping. She enjoyed being the complete center of attention and was the happiest little girl ever.
